Utilizing techniques in Cognitive Behavioral, Brief-Solution Focused, and Play Therapy for over 14 years, Trish specializes in counseling for children, adolescents, and adults on issues associated with ADD/ADHD, life transitions and adjustment, grief, anxiety, stress, and depression. Cognitive-behavioral therapy is a goal-oriented psychotherapy treatment that takes a hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving. The goal is to change patterns of thinking or behavior that are behind people’s difficulties, and so, change the way they feel. Combined with CBT, she also infuses brief, solution-focused therapy, which concentrates on the “present” and techniques in “solution building.” The most important factor to transformation and growth is the relationship between client and therapist. Trish has the ability to connect with her virtual clients, as if they were meeting face to face.
